Powering the Turriff Show 2026
Before the Crowds Arrive
In just a few weeks, thousands of visitors will descend on The Turra (Turriff) Show, Scotland's largest two-day agricultural show. While visitors will enjoy livestock displays, machinery, food, entertainment and hundreds of exhibitors, there's a huge amount of work that takes place before the gates even open.
This year, the Genny Hire team is proud to be providing the temporary power that helps keep the show running smoothly.
Reliable Power Behind a Major Event
Large outdoor events rely on dependable temporary power.
From exhibitor stands and catering facilities to lighting, welfare units and essential services, reliable power is critical throughout the site.
Our team will be working in advance of the show to install generators, distribution equipment and cabling, ensuring everything is tested and ready before visitors arrive.
Preparation Makes All the Difference
Every event is different.
Before equipment even arrives, careful planning takes place to understand:
- power requirements across
- the site
- generator locations
- cable routes
- fuel management
- safety considerations
- contingency planning
Good preparation means organisers can concentrate on delivering a fantastic event, knowing the temporary power infrastructure is in place.
